Alice Gomezulu is an academic member of staff at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). She is a Food Quality and Safety expert and a certified internal auditor (Food Safety and Integrated Management Systems) and has experience in the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) industry.
She is also a passionate researcher, specifically about innovative solutions facing the food system and value chain. Her recent work about the potential of pigeon pea as an alternative of chemical binders in restructured meat products has been published in various reputable journals including Applied Food Research
(Elsevier), Heliyon (Elsevier) and Tanzania Journal of Agricultural Sciences (TAJAS). Outside work, she enjoys fashion, travel, art and is a beginner in her favorite sport so far: swimming.
